Hide & Seek finally fully re-opening!
Over the past few months, Sandy Ridge has undergone a lot of maintenance & trail work. After the wet spring, the areas of this fresh trail that needed drainage work became apparent and the lower section was reworked first, and then re-opened. More recently, the bridge has been installed over Little Joe Creek. No more wet feet!
Additionally, a small loop section above and west of Hide & Seek, that connects into the upper Hide & Seek section, is open as of July 24th. This trail, the “338″ loop trail, provides additional mileage to the Hide & Seek trail, as well as providing a glimpse into what the rest of the trail at Sandy Ridge will look like. 338 is a part of a larger loop, Communication Breakdown, that will continue to be worked on over the next year.
