Trail work at Stubs

Trail work at Stubs

”Proposal for freeride trails at Stub got thumbs up from management with Oregon Parks & Recreation. Approved for next phase: Planning. (and we got pretty much the whole thing ready to go because our vision was so thorough). Expect to submit draft Plan for review by end of August. Note: Black Rock style feature levels approved.” - Joe Rykowski

It’s all Ryan, man. McLane. I’m just riding his coat tails on the Tillamook State Forest thing… It’s gonna be an epic trail system (all shuttlable) for DH specific if the vision we’ve all helped stoke comes to be (hoping to get started Spring ‘10 with what will be 5+ years of trail work to put all the ideas on the ground).

On a related note the Freeride area at L.L. Stub Stewart State Park was approved by Oregon Parks & Recreation for next phase as well. September 18th is the date we meet with Washington county to get their buy-in. Great support from the parks people, hoping to also be building there by Spring ‘10.
