Jones Creek trail turns to muddy descent!

Thursday, July 16th, 2009

Usually the Jones Creek trail is a fast and furious downhill full of rocky descents and flowing bermed trails.  With record rainfall hitting it this week it turned to a slippery slope full of all kinds of fast lines and prayers that your tires hold their grip.  After a couple of runs and that “damn I feel like I crapped my pants” feeling from all the caked on clay mud, the smiles were still reaching from ear to ear!

Update on Tillamook State Forest trail project

Thursday, July 16th, 2009

Progress is taking place on a potential trail system right in our own back yard.  After so many years of lobbying the state land managers, it is nice to see fresh steps taken to move this project forward!  Great job Ryan and the WTF fellas! Thanks for being persistant and adament with this project.  For more info on the DH trail plans go to the WSFR Message board

Jaymo and Sam up at the NW School of Freeride have been busting humps to get the land transformed. Boyko set up his stunt for his new movie “Barred for Life” and Greg Watts was there to test out his new ride on the dirt jumps!
